Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone

Located just minutes off of the Grazierville Exit of I99; Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone is nestled directly between Altoona and State College – making it a great hub for shopping, restaurants and plenty of medical options.

Bordered by a wooded area, Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone residents have the added benefit of being close to nature.

Just minutes from the community is Reservoir Park which offers walking trails, outdoor pavilions, an Amphitheatre, and a public swimming area. Tyrone also has many great fishing spots along the banks of the Juniata River.

Our Courtyard community is located less than 10 minutes away from Delgrosso’s Amusement Park (Formerly Bland’s Park). For over 60 years Delgrosso’s has been a great place for families to gather for a fun filled day. Being close to the park enables our residents to continue those traditions with their families.

We encourage our residents to continue to live a full and vibrant life, both inside and outside the Courtyard. Our proximity to Altoona allows our residents the opportunity to participate in many things, such as Blair County Ballpark’s Tyrone Community Day and the Blair County Golden Games.

The Tyrone Hospital is less than one mile from the Courtyard. The hospital auxiliary offers a transport service to the community called the Care Car. For only a donation, residents can use the Care Car to safely transport to any location on the hospital campus. Blair Senior Services also offers transportation for our residents to just about any place in Blair County.

Tyrone Colonial is rooted in a small community where everyone steps in to lend a hand when needed. The staff at Tyrone is proud to call this community our home.
